Solo travel for women who are done waiting

You don't need a partner who travels, older kids, time to lose weight, more money, a new job, or more friends.

Solo Girl Wanders helps you stop waiting and say yes to yourself. She’s done it and so can you.

However you get there, it's time to take the trip.

Hi! I’m Alyssa, certified travel coach and founder of Solo Girl Wanders

In 2009, after a relationship breakup, life handed me a moment of uncertainty where I felt lost. Instead of waiting on someone or something to fix me, I took a leap and said yes to myself—I booked a solo trip. That single decision changed everything. Now, with 33 countries and nearly all 50 states behind me, I’ve honed the art of traveling solo with intention and confidence in order to open up worlds of possibilities for myself.

Now I get to help YOU! Solo travel isn’t about being fearless—it’s about doing it scared and discovering just how transformative it can be. As a certified solo travel coach and your biggest cheerleader on this journey, let me show you how. When we work together all you have to do is say YES and let me take care of the rest.

Not just inspiration. Not just logistics.

Travel influencers show you the highlight reel. Travel agencies book your hotels. Neither one deals with the actual reason you haven't gone yet.

Are you:

  • Feeling the pull to take the leap?

  • Craving a trip that feels like you?

  • Ready for guidance that gets you?

  • Tired of waiting?

Alyssa was such a dream. She helped me get over my fear of traveling and even helped me brainstorm a list of activities that would fit the type of trip I was seeking.

I was unclear where I wanted to go for my first solo trip. Alyssa asked me questions to guide me to make a decision. She checked in while I was on the trip as well which felt so supportive.

*BTW, Rodcely loved her solo trip and destination so much, she ended up moving there!

My session with Alyssa was great! She gave me enough confidence that I was able to do the booking on my own. I really appreciate the time she took to help!

Working with Alyssa was incredibly eye-opening. I learned things about myself that I didn’t even realize before our session. Not only did she give me doable, practical action steps, but she also helped shift my mindset around taking solo trips. After the call, I felt so much more comfortable planning a solo trip and excited about where I could go.
